Hotel Arnold
Completed in May 2015, the architectural project of the Hotel Arnold in Itterswiller in France offers guests a unique natural experience of relaxation. The focal point of the building is a large wellness centre of exclusive design for a personalised wellbeing experience, in which the Axi wood-look porcelain tile series by Atlas Concorde expresses all its alluring character.
The Axi wood-look porcelain tile collection interprets, in a contemporary way, various wood essences enhanced by the marks of time to create indoor flooring rich in shades and captivating chromatic contrasts. Every single detail is carefully designed and the wood-look stretches from indoor floors to walls and other architectural elements for a perfect style continuity. The project alternates the use of Axi Brown and Axi White in a complex architectural building that includes cutting-edge sauna, swimming-pool and Turkish bath facilities. The wellness centre offers guests a large heated swimming-pool. Thanks to the trim tiles that complete the ceramic collection, every single detail is cared for; swimming-pool edges, stairs and steps are safe and guarantee the utmost style continuity. Axi was also used for bathroom floors combining refined appeal and excellent technical performance. Porcelain tiles do not become damaged when they come into contact with acids and detergents, they do not allow the build up of bacteria on the surface and do not release any unsafe volatile organic compounds, furthermore porcelain tiles are easy to maintain. These features make Axi wood-look porcelain tiles the perfect choice in wellness centres and bathroom floors. Resistant to moisture, porcelain tiles were also used in the shower area offering the utmost comfort as well as visual appeal.
